Amipol-TV as active substances in 1 plate contains thymol – 80 mg, amitraz – 6.75 mg and excipients, peeled veneer.

The drug has the form of light yellow to brown wooden plates.

PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Amipol-T belongs to the pharmacotherapeutic group of acaricidal drugs.

Amitraz and thymol, which are part of the drug, have a pronounced acaricidal contact action against adult forms of Varroa destructor; their combined use helps prevent the emergence of resistant mite populations.

According to the degree of exposure to the organism, Amipol-TV refers to moderately dangerous substances, when used in recommended doses, it does not have a skin-resorptive, locally irritating and sensitizing effect.

Amipol-T is not toxic to bees, in recommended doses it does not adversely affect the vital activity and productivity of colonies.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

Apply Amipol-T in spring and autumn. Place the drug in hives at the rate of 2 plates per 10–12 nesting frames. For small colonies (up to 6 frames), offshoots and nuclei, 1 plate to be placed in the center of the nest is enough. In a weak colony, hang one plate between the 3rd and 4th comb frames, in a strong colony – one plate between the 3rd and 4th comb frames, and the second plate between the 7th and 8th comb frames. Keep the plates in colonies for 3 to 30 days, depending on the amount of sealed brood, and then remove them.

Do not use the drug less than 14 days before the start of the major honey collection to avoid the penetration of the drug components into marketable honey.

When using a product, the general rules of personal hygiene and safety provided for when using drugs should be observed. Empty packaging from under the drug is prohibited to be used for household purposes, it is subject to disposal with household waste.

In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be rinsed with plenty of water.

People with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug should avoid direct contact with it. The drug is prohibited to be used by bees during the main honey harvest, there are no age restrictions.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Adverse reactions and complications when using the drug in accordance with the instructions for use, as a rule, are not observed.

Symptoms of drug overdose in bees have not been established.

Amipol-T should not be used in conjunction with other acaricidal medications.

The specifics of the drug effect at the first intake or when it is canceled have not been established.

Violations of the doses and course of use of the drug should be avoided, as this may lead to a decrease in its effectiveness. In case of missing the next use of the drug, it should be applied as soon as possible in the same dose according to the same scheme.

Honey is allowed to be used for food purposes no earlier than 14 days after the end of the use of the drug in accordance with this instruction.

PACKAGE

Amipol-T is produced packaged, 10 plates per hermetically sealed bag made of metallized film. Each consumer package is provided with a patient information leaflet

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store the drug in the original unopened container, in a place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 0 to +25 °C.

Keep the drug out of reach of children.

Use immediately after opening the package. The unused drug is disposed of in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

It is released without a prescription from a veterinarian.

SHELF LIFE

The drug shelf life, subject to compliance with storage conditions in the original unopened container, is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not use the drug after the expiration date. After opening the package, the drug is not subject to storage.

NB! Avoid the prescribed dosage and prescribed administration pattern violations, as this may lead to suboptimal effectiveness. If the next drug dose is missed, it should be administered as soon as possible in the same dose, according to the same pattern.
