COMPOSITION AND FORM OF RELEASE

Available in powder form.

Antivir contains as active ingredients: umifenovir hydrochloride - 90 mg and excipients.

The drug is manufactured in a form of a white powder. The presence of a greenish-yellowish or cream shade is allowed.

PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Pharmacotherapeutic group of a medicinal product for veterinary use: antiprotozoal agents.

Umifenovir, which is part of the drug, inhibits the release of viral particles from cells and contributes to their death, providing an antiviral effect.

According to the degree of exposure to the organism, Antivir refers to low-risk substances, in recommended doses does not have a locally irritating and sensitizing effect.

Antivir is non-toxic to bees, does not adversely affect the general condition, development and productivity of bee colonies, does not worsen the quality of commercial beekeeping products.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

Apply Antivir for the treatment and prevention of bees’ viral diseases in spring before the major honey collection and at the end of summer, after the honey extraction.

Simultaneously with the treatment of colonies, if possible, queens are replaced with healthy fetal ones, disinfection is carried out in apiaries.

Feed the drug to bees in spring and in summer with candy or sugar syrup at the rate of 2 g of the drug per bee colony containing 8-10 beeways. To prepare candy with a drug, add the drug to the honey-sugar dough (candy) at the rate of 10 g of the drug per 2.5 kg of candy and feed it to the bees at the rate of 0.5 kg per bee colony.

To prepare a syrup with a drug, add 10 g of the drug to 50 ml of warm water, and then mix it with 5 liters of sugar syrup, prepared in a ratio of 1 : 1, and feed it to bees in clean feeders at the rate of 100 ml per frame with bees.

The drug is used 5-7 times with an interval of 5-6 days, until the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease.

Simultaneously with the treatment, disinfection of hives, honeycombs and working equipment is carried out according to the instructions for disinfection in apiaries. Podmore and beehive garbage are burned.


SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Honey may be consumed not before 14 days after the end of the drug administration.

When using a product, the general rules of personal hygiene and safety provided for when using drugs should be observed. Smoking, drinking and eating are prohibited during the usage.
