Tropidez in 1 plate contains as active ingredients: thymol – 60 mg, geraniol – 20 mg, and as excipients: clove essential oil, lavender essential oil, fir essential oil, peeled veneer.

Essential oils of cloves, lavender and fir enhance the effect of the active ingredients of the drug.
Tropidez, in addition to its specific acaricidal action, also has a bactericidal, fungicidal and insecticidal effect, helping bee colonies to cope with various other diseases on their own. The use of the drug does not cause the emergence of resistant tick populations.
The drug Tropidez is used for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for tropilelapsosis, varroatosis and braulosis of honey bees in the spring and summer-autumn periods.
Tropidez is used in the spring after the beginning of oviposition by the queen bee and in the summer-autumn period after pumping out commercial honey. Processing of bee colonies is carried out at ambient temperature from +10 ° C to +35 ° C.
The drug is placed in hives at the rate of 2 plates for 10-12 frames with bees. For families, layering and nuclei with a volume of up to 6 frames, one plate is used, which is suspended in the center of the nest. In families with a strength of 10-12 nest frames, one plate is suspended between 3 and 4 honeycombs, the second – between 7 and 8 honeycombs.
The treatment is carried out twice. The plates are placed in the hives for 15 days, after which they are removed and immediately replaced with new ones.
