The antiemetic effect is due to the blockade of the receptors of the chemoreceptor zone of the medulla oblongata. Motherwort extract has a sedative, soothing, hypotensive and cardiotonic effect, which is due to the properties of biologically active substances contained in the plant (including glycosides, alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins). Valerian extract has an antispasmodic and sedative effect, reduces the excitability of the central nervous system and the tone of smooth muscles. The complex of biologically active substances of valerian acts through neurohumoral mechanisms and affects the conducting system of the myocardium, as well as regulates cardiovascular activity, slowing down the rhythm of the heart and slightly dilating the coronary vessels.
