COMPOSITION AND FORM OF RELEASE

Trade name of the drug: Mycoask.

International nonproprietary name: clotrimazole.

Veterinary plate

Mycoask contains in 1 plate as active ingredients: clotrimazole – 30 mg and excipients.

The drug is made in the form of white to gray cardboard plates.

PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Pharmacotherapeutic group of a medicinal product for veterinary use: antifungal agents.

Clotrimazole, which is part of the drug, has a wide spectrum of antifungal activity, and is effective against bees’ ascospherosis and aspergillosis pathogens.

According to the degree of exposure to the organism, Mycoask refers to low-risk substances, in recommended doses it does not have a locally irritating and sensitizing effect.

Mycoask is low toxic for bees, does not adversely affect the general condition, development and productivity of bee colonies.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

Apply Mycoask in spring before the major honey collection or in summer, after the marketable honey extraction.

Do not use the drug less than 14 days before the start of the major honey collection to avoid the penetration of the drug components into marketable honey.

Before applying the drug in a dysfunctional apiary, examine all bee colonies, remove frames with severely affected brood, and place sick colonies onto clean foundation and into disinfected hives. Reduce and insulate nests of sick colonies, and replace queens, if required.

Place Mycoask into hives, hanging them on a special fastening device (you can use wire to build frames) in the beeway between the frame with brood and the next (covering) frame at the rate of 1 plate per 6 nest frames occupied by bees.

Carry out treatment 2–3 times as the bees remove the plates from the nest (every 6–7 days). Stop treating the bee colonies at least two weeks before the start of the major honey collection in order to avoid the drug penetration into marketable honey.

Honey is allowed to be used for food purposes no earlier than 14 days after the end of the use of the drug in accordance with this instruction.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

When using a product, the general rules of personal hygiene and safety provided for when using drugs should be observed. Empty packaging from under the drug is prohibited to be used for household purposes, it is subject to disposal with household waste.

In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be rinsed with plenty of water.

People with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug should avoid direct contact with it. Mycoask should not be used in conjunction with other fungicidal medications.

NB! Avoid the prescribed dosage and prescribed administration pattern violations, as this may lead to suboptimal effectiveness. If the next drug dose is missed, it should be administered as soon as possible in the same dose, according to the same pattern.

PACKAGE

Mycoask is produced packaged, 10 plates into hermetically sealed bags made of metallized film.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store the drug in the original unopened container, in a place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 0 to +25 °C.

Keep out of reach of children. Use immediately after opening the package.

It is released without a prescription from a veterinarian.

The unused drug is disposed of in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

SHELF LIFE

The drug shelf life, subject to compliance with storage conditions in the original unopened container, is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not use the drug after the expiration date.
