Gepatolux for small breed dogs (tablets)

ГЕПАТОЛЮКС ТАБЛЕТКИ для мелких пород собак

The rapid recovery and liver function support in animals

The Gepatolux complex drug is used for treatment and prevention of acute and chronic disorders of the liver (hepatitis, hepatosis, hepatic steatosis), gall bladder, and biliary tract of various origins. The unique composition of the drug promotes the restoration of damaged liver cells, improving enzymatic activity, and normalizing the animal metabolism. Gepatolux is also effective in the treatment of body intoxication, infectious diseases, helminthic invasions, and in the postoperative period. It is used to reduce the risk of adverse effects of the antibacterial, chemotherapeutic, antiparasitic, and other hepatotoxic drugs. Gepatolux helps to improve appetite, nutrient absorption, and immunity of an animal.

The drug is effective for intoxication, poisoning and dehydration of the organism; it reduces the side effects of chemotherapeutic, antiparasitic and other drugs with hepatotoxicity.

Gepatolux improves the properties of bile and reduces the risk of gallstones in the animal. The use of the drug significantly reduces the risk of cirrhosis and liver cancer in animals.

The use of the drug Gepatolux tablets is recommended for animals at risk: neutered, sterilized, prone to obesity, sedentary and elderly.

COMPOSITION AND FORM OF RELEASE

The drug Gepotolux for small breed dogs contains in 1 tablet as active ingredients: Essential phospholipids (EPL-substance) of vegetable origin from soy seeds 40 mg, methionine 30 mg, L-arginine 0.5 mg, L-ornithine 25 mg, artichoke leaf extract 20 mg, milk thistle seed extract (silymarin) 5 mg, glycyrrhizic acid salt 10 mg, glycine 10 mg, royal jelly 0.1 mg, and excipients.

The drug is made in a form of light brown tablets with dark inclusions of a rounded shape.

PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

The active components of the drug contribute to the normalization of protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, have hepatoprotective characteristics, increase antioxidant, barrier, homeostatic and metabolic liver functions. Extracts of medicinal plants have a choleretic, hypolipidemic and hypoglycemic (lowering blood sugar levels) effect, accelerate the process of depositing substances in the liver.

Methionine is an essential amino acid that regulates the nitrogen balance in the organism. It contains a mobile methyl group and participates in methylation processes that ensure the synthesis of choline, adrenaline, creatine, etc. biologically important compounds, the neutralization of toxic products and the formation of phospholipids. Inhibits the deposition of neutral fat in the liver, has a lipotropic effect (removal of excess fat from the liver).

Essential phospholipids (lecithin) belong to the class of highly specialized lipids and are esters of glycerophosphoric acid. They are the main elements in the structure of the cell membrane and mitochondria, regulate lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, improve the functional state of the liver and its detoxification function, contribute to the preservation and restoration of the structure of hepatocytes; inhibit the formation of connective tissue in the liver.

L-arginine and L-ornithine are amino acids that accelerate the excretion of protein metabolism products from the body, reduce cholesterol levels, improve the work of enzymatic systems and tissue trophism. Artichoke leaf extract has choleretic, detoxifying, hepatoprotective, hypolipidemic and diuretic effects. Increases the excretion of urea, toxins (nitro compounds, alkaloids, heavy metal salts) from the organism, helps to reduce cholesterol in the blood.

Milk thistle seed extract (silymarin) has antioxidant and membrane stabilizing properties, prevents the accumulation of lipid hydroperoxides, thereby reducing damage to liver cells and slowing the entry of toxic substances into them, activates and normalizes protein and fat metabolism.

Glycyrrhizic acid salt stimulates bile secretion and improves liver function, has antiviral, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Glycine is a regulator of metabolism, normalizes and activates the processes of protective inhibition in the central nervous system, increases the endurance of the animal. It has an antioxidant and antitoxic effect. Bee royal jelly promotes rapid recovery and elimination of toxic substances, poisons and heavy metals from the body, normalizes intra-organ pressure, increases the immune system, improves kidney and liver function, lowers blood sugar; has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, cardioprotective and adaptogenic effect.

After ingestion, the components of the drug are well absorbed in the small intestine, including in the form of biologically active products of their hydrolysis by digestive enzymes, which are transported through the intestinal wall into the lymphatic channel, and partial resynthesis from them occurs in the liver.

According to the degree of exposure to the organism, Gepatolux refers to low-risk substances. In recommended doses, it does not have embryotoxic, teratogenic, mutagenic and sensitizing effects.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

Gepatolux tablets are given to the cat individually, during feeding at a dose of 1 tablet per 10 kg of weight twice a day. The course of application is 20-30 days, depending on the individual characteristics of the organism and the nature of the course of the disease. If necessary, according to the instructions of the veterinarian, the drug can be resumed after 10 days. With a chronic course, the course of treatment is repeated several times a year.

The use of Gepatolux does not exclude the use of other etiotropic and pathogenetic drugs. The drug is prescribed independently or as part of complex therapy.

If one or more doses of the drug are missed, its use is resumed in the same doses and according to the same scheme. The specifics of the drug's effect at the first intake and cancellation have not been established.
