Binakar for cats and kittens

Binakar contains in 1 ml as active ingredients: imidacloprid 80 mg, cypermethrin 3 mg, propolis extract 5 mg, and excipients.

The drug is made in a form of a transparent, oily yellow liquid.

Binacar refers to insecticidal drugs.

Imidacloprid, which is part of the drug, has a systemic and contact insecticidal effect on lice, fleas and hair-eating parasites on pets. The drug is effective against imaginal (adult) and preimaginal (larval) phases of ectoparasite development, protects the pet from attack by mosquitoes, midges and mosquitoes. The mechanism of action of imidocloprid is based on blocking the work of protein receptors of insect nerve cells, which leads to the impossibility of conducting a nerve impulse, and further – to paralysis and death. Cypermethrin belongs to a group of synthetic pyrethroids, the mechanism of effect of which is to disrupt the permeability of cell membranes, block the transmission of nerve impulses, which causes a violation of movement coordination, paralysis and leads to the rapid death of ectoparasites.

Propolis extract, having anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties, protects the pet's skin from irritation.

After application to the skin, the drug is distributed over the surface of the body, is slightly resorbed by the skin, accumulates in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands of the animal, exerting an insecticidal and repellent effect.

According to the degree of exposure to the organism, refers to moderately dangerous substances. In recommended doses, it does not have resorptive-toxic, embryotoxic, teratogenic, mutagenic, immunotoxic and locally irritating effects. In case of contact with the eyes, it causes mild irritation.

The drug Binakar is used to destroy ectoparasites (ixodes and scabies mites, fleas, lice and Trichodectidae) on cats and kittens, as well as to protect against attacks by diptera insects (mosquitoes, midges and mosquitoes).

Instill the Binakar drops while parting the coat directly to the skin, pointwise in several places, so that the animal cannot lick it. Doses: 0.4 ml per 4 kg of animal weight. The frequency of application is once a month.

Repeated treatments of the pet are carried out according to entomological indications, but not more than one a month. The minimum therapeutic dose is 0.1 ml per 1 kg of pet weight. Do not apply the drug to wet, damaged and contaminated skin, and wash the pet within 24 hours after treatment. The peculiarities of the drug's action at the first application or at its cancellation were not revealed. Binacar is used in pets from the age of 8 weeks.

When using Binacar in accordance with this instruction, Side effects and complications are not observed. With increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the active substance and the emergence of side effects and complications, the use of the drug is discontinued.

Contraindications:

Individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including in the anamnesis). It is forbidden to treat weakened, emaciated animals and females in the last third of pregnancy, as well as kittens younger than 8 weeks of age.

In case of overdose, animals may have a depressed state and self-passing hypersalivation.

The treatment of pregnant and nursing females is carried out under the supervision of the attending veterinarian.

It is not recommended to use the drug with synthetic pyrethroids.

When using the drug, the general rules of personal hygiene and safety provided for when using drugs should be observed. Smoking, drinking and eating are prohibited during the usage. The treatment of animals should be carried out using overalls. At the end, wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.

In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be rinsed with plenty of running water.

People with hypersensitivity to Binacar components should avoid direct contact with the drug. In case of allergic reactions or accidental ingestion of the drug - drink several glasses of water, then drink 1/2 cup of water with 10-15 tablets of activated charcoal, and then take a saline laxative. In case of signs of poisoning (nausea, weakness, dizziness), you should immediately contact a medical institution (take the instructions for use or label with you). Empty pipettes from under the drug is prohibited to be used for household purposes, it is subject to disposal with household waste.

The unused drug is disposed of in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. Use the drug only for its intended purpose. It is released without a prescription from a veterinarian.

The drug is produced packaged in 0.4 ml in polymer pipettes, packed in 4 pieces in cardboard packs complete with instructions for use.

Store the drug in the original closed package, protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 0 to +25°C.

The shelf life under storage conditions in the original closed package is 24 months from the manufacturing date.

Do not use after the expiration date.
