BISANAR FOR SUBLIMATION

Solution for external use

Bisanar for sublimation contains 2.5 oxalic acid and 7.2 g of thymol for the preparation of a 50 ml solution and excipients in one set-pack as active ingredients.

The drug is made in the form of:

- package contents (oxalic acid): colorless or white crystals;

- vial contents (thymol, fir essential oil, coriander essential oil and excipients): homogeneous colorless or light yellow liquid

Pharmacotherapeutic group of a product for veterinary use: acaricidal agents.

Thymol and oxalic acid, which are part of the drug, have a pronounced acaricidal effect against pathogens of varroatosis and acarapidosis of honey bees, as well as bactericidal, fungicidal and disinfectant properties.

The application of Bisanar for sublimation does not cause the emergence of resistant mite populations.

According to the degree of exposure to the organism, Bisanar for sublimation refers to low-risk substances, in recommended doses, it does not have a locally irritating and sensitizing effect.

Bisanar for sublimation is not toxic to bees, in recommended doses it does not adversely affect the vital activity and productivity of colonies.

Bisanar for sublimation is used for the treatment and prevention of bees’ varroatosis and acarapidosis.

Do not use the drug less than 14 days before the start of the major honey collection to avoid the penetration of the drug components into marketable honey.

When using a product, the general rules of personal hygiene and safety provided for when using drugs should be observed. Empty packaging from under the drug is prohibited to be used for household purposes, it is subject to disposal with household waste.

In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be rinsed with plenty of water.

People with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug should avoid direct contact with it. In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be rinsed with plenty of water. In case of allergic reactions or accidental ingestion of the components of the drug into the human body, you should immediately contact a medical institution (take the instructions for use or label with you).

Apply Bisanar for sublimation in spring and autumn.

Apply the drug to the bees topically, by fumigating the hive interior using special equipment (smoke gun).

Treat the hives during the day, when the sky is clear, at an ambient temperature of at least 10 °C. Before use, empty the sachet completely into the vial, then close the vial with a lid tightly and shake for 3–5 minutes until the sachet contents is dissolved completely. Attach the vial without a cap to the special equipment (smoke gun).

Use the prepared solution within 3 hours. Discard the prepared solution not used within 3 hours.

Fumigate the infected bee colonies according to the operating instructions for the equipment used, which has to be adjusted so that 1 press corresponds to the release of 1 ml of the prepared solution.

The recommended consumption rate of the prepared solution for a colony with 6-7 frames is 1 ml (1 press), and for a colony with 12-14 frames – 2 ml (2 presses).

In the presence of brood in bee colonies, conduct 3 treatments with an interval of 7 days, and in the absence of brood, treat the bee colonies 1–2 times with an interval of 7 days.

Adverse reactions and complications when using the drug in accordance with the instructions for use, as a rule, are not observed.

Symptoms of drug overdose in bees have not been established.

Bisanar for sublimation should not be used in conjunction with other acaricidal medications.

The specifics of the drug's action at the first intake or when it is canceled have not been established.

NB! Avoid the prescribed dosage and prescribed administration pattern violations, as this may lead to suboptimal effectiveness. If the next drug dose is missed, it should be administered as soon as possible in the same dose, according to the same pattern.

Honey is allowed to be used for food purposes no earlier than 14 days after the end of the use of the drug in accordance with this instruction.

Bisanar for sublimation is produced packaged containing a metallized film bag with a content weight of 2.5 g and a 50 ml polymer vial. Polymer vials are sealed with tamper-evident caps. The bag and vial that make up the package contents are placed in a common cardboard box.

Store the drug in the original unopened container, in a place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 0 to +25 °C.

Keep Bisanar for sublimation out of reach of children. Use immediately after opening the package.

The unused drug is disposed of in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

The drug shelf life, subject to compliance with storage conditions in the original unopened container, is 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Do not use the drug after the expiration date. After opening the package, the product is not subject to storage.
